CECO Youth and Young Adult Ministry
Mission:
The mission of the CECO Youth and Young Adult Ministry is to equip youth ministry leaders and ministries with the Biblical tools needed to empower young people ages 16-21 for service in the Kingdom of God.
Vision:
The vision of the CECO Youth and Young Adult Ministry will be that each church within CECO will have an active and effective youth and young adult ministry that will impact their community with the love of Christ, connect with other Christians, and develop innovative ways to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ locally and globally according to Ephesians 4:11-12, John 13:35, Hebrews 10:25 and Matthew 28:19-20.
The CECO Youth and Young Adult Ministry will strive to accomplish the following:
-Youth and young adult ministry leaders and those ages 16-21 will work together to develop and lead meaningful programs, activities, and resources for this age group within their church and in their communities.
-A growing team of youth ministry leaders, mentees and students will work together to develop and lead meaningful programs, activities and resources for this age group within CECO (e.g. youth conferences, CECO convocation classes, trainings in relevant areas for those ages 16-21).
-Youth and Young Adults will be equipped to pray, study the Word, evangelize, give, serve as well as lead in love, grace and humility.
-They will utilize their talents, gifts and callings for the Kingdom of God.
-A growing database of resources (e.g., books, forums, blogs, networking site, etc.) will be offered to develop youth and young adult ministries, leaders and members.
